All is well in New York. I have been working hard at my internships and this past weekend was able to make it to an art store and am now working on some of my new drawings. Visited the MET last Sunday and hope to do some more museum visits this weekend.

and now another Monday

So did not have my internship today so I took the opportunity to explore. I visited the 9/11 memorial site which was incredibly powerful. Then I walked around the financial district and walked down to battery park. I also visited the national museum of the American Indian. So overall a very good day. During the weekend I visited China Town and saw the end of the New Years festival.

Its a Monday……

So I have an internship for the next summer. I will be working on Mackinac island as an exhibit intern traveling around between the different parks.

week one

So week one down and all is well. I have gone to both my internships and been worked hard. Making large plywood boxes, silk flowers and clay slabs. It is nice to know where I am going and not have to think and plan as much on the subway lines. Today’s goals are explore more, go buy more food. Oh and it snowed yesterday so now I can see the city covered in white.

Arrived in New York
